How CamWink works
Follow these steps to set up your camera and start a conversation.
Arrive without a form
CamWink creates a guest account when you arrive. You can enter matching straight away; registration is needed for actions such as following someone.
Choose how to begin
Choose video, voice or text matching on the start screen. For a video conversation, select video before beginning.
Allow the permissions you need
Video matching asks for access to your camera and microphone. Your browser controls that access. If you block a permission, review the site's settings before trying again.
Start matching
Follow the on-screen steps to begin. Availability can vary, so there isn't a promised connection time or a particular person guaranteed in each match.
Use the call controls
Blur your picture, mute your microphone, or mute the other person's sound. These are separate controls. End the call whenever you're ready.
Continue through messages
After the call ends, open your messages to continue the conversation. If you want to follow the person too, complete registration.
