What the two camera views mean
One view shows the other person. The other lets you see your own camera picture. Before sharing, check your frame and what's visible behind you.
You may also see this called cam2cam or two-way video chat. Before joining, check that your lens is clear and your microphone is picking up sound.
Your picture and your microphone are different controls
Blurring your picture changes how your video appears to the other person. It doesn't mute your microphone. Muting your microphone stops your microphone audio; it doesn't blur your picture.
You can also mute the other person's sound. That changes what you hear, not whether they can hear you. Check each control separately instead of assuming one switch handles picture and sound together.
Try two-way video
Start cam-to-cam chatWhat cam to cam doesn't promise
Two-way video describes the format of a conversation. It doesn't promise who will answer, what they'll want to discuss, or how long they'll stay.
You can’t filter matches by country, language or gender. To start in voice mode, choose voice matching before a call; a video call can’t be switched to voice midway through.
Keep control of what you share
CamWink doesn't record calls. That doesn't stop another participant from taking a screenshot or recording with their own device, so only share what you're comfortable letting someone see or hear.
Avoid showing documents, addresses, or private screens in the background. Blur is a useful control, not a substitute for checking the frame.
When it's time to stop
End a call whenever you want to. If you tap Next, the person you've skipped won't be matched with you again for a while. If you need to report or block someone, do that from their profile after the call.
A blocked person won't be matched with you again. You don't need to stay in a call to explain why you're leaving.
